| Best lures for Bass Fishing and the best time of the day to fish for Bass  | | | |  I am keen on fishing. I enjoy fishing in river mouths and off the surf. About two years ago I started bass fishing as well. Sometimes its a lot of fun and sometimes its very boring with absolutely no action. Can someone advise me on the best lures and times to fish for bass please.

| |  bass is an excellent fish to go for, they are very tricky and smart as far as fish go. i would reccomend early morning or evening, although it depends on the time of year and location(i live in New Jersey). i like to go for bass in early june and late august/early september.
as far as lures go, rapala jointed in chartreuse always works for me. rapalas are rather expensive though, so unless you use live bait (panfish/trout worms), a good fake worm and rig will only cost you a dollar or so. places to get these things for cheap is wal mart or kmart in the sporting goods section.
