Here in our country we have this dessert-snack called halo-halo, which is a mix of boiled red mug beans, sugar palm fruit( kaong),coconut sport(macapuno),jackfruit, banana, tapioca, nata de coco, purple yam(ube), crushed young rice(pinipig), custard, ice cream, gelatin, shaved ice and condensed milk or evaporated milk. In terms of arrangement, the beans and fruits are placed first inside a tall glass followed by shaved ice, then sprinked with sugar and topped with either or a combination of ice cream, custard and purple yam. condensed milk is then poured into the mixture before serving..
