why nowadays helping tendencies reduced?

I'm not sure why tendencies have reduced in your country, here in the US, I think they have reduced because we have become pretty separated from each other, we only spend time with people who are very much like us. Many of us spend a lot of time working and with our electronic gadgets which tends to isolate us, and perhaps others are so overwhelmed by the number of problems in their communities that they don't know what they can do to help anyone let alone, perhaps themselves.

One of the reason is that we stopped giving and started selling. Namely we started to expect people to give us something in return if we help them out. Some how lost trust in people and pass this knowledge on younger generations and so on. Sometimes it depends on the individual, it's hard to say for a group...

people nowadays don't help others because of financial crisis.

also people have bad experiences regarding helping, they thought they have helped someone in need but unfortunately they were pulled down because of someone's wrong motive of asking for help.

others also when they were the ones in need nobody helped so they were depressed and disappointed.
