Do you consider jealousy a sign of LOVE?

Putting it simply, NO!!! If you love someone, you want the best for them. and jealousy is nothing more than letting the devil inside of the business. If you have a Bible, check out 1 Corinthians 13; That is what is called the "love chapter" in so many words, it goes like this. "Love is patient, Love is kind. It doesn't not envy, It does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking. It is not easily angered. it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always preseveres. love never fails, but where there are propehcies, they will cease, where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. Fore we know in part, and we prophecy in part. but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears." 1Cor 13:3-10. There is more, but I wanted to get to the heart of the matter for you to see. Love is not envy, therefore love is not jealous. But sometimes it depends upon the situation..There's the so called good jealousy on purpose while the other is having jealous without no cause at all. It is just normal to a partner if she/he saw his partner in somebody's arm., and if ever you wont feel this kind then you can prove it to yourself that you do not love your partner..There was a time when my friend is being tested by his boyfriend, his boyfriend go to with the other girl which is his cousin,they have their own little drama of sweetness then her girlfriend saw them, then the result, no reaction., means to say. her girlfriend doesn't love him that much. She didn't even bother to ask whose that Girl. She would asked instead if she love her boyfriend. So, mystique838..it really depends. Too much jealousy means selfishness love.

I think it can be considered a sign of love but I think there is a line between how much jealousy is really a sign of love and how much jealousy is a sign of wanting to control the other person in the relationship. I mean, getting a little jealous over how much time your partner is spending with someone or if they're getting unwanted attention from someone else that seems to be flattering your partner I think can be a sign of love but when it turns into something used for controlling the relationship then that's going too far.

Maybe a little bit of jealousy. Like if a guy is looking at another guys grilfriend and she flirts with him. The boyfriend might get abit jealous but then he can just think I have her and you dont. But for the most part Jealousy just shows an insecure person who doesnt trust their mate.

I think that jealously is not really a sign of love, because love isn't a sickness that appears in symptoms, but it is something else, I'm just not quite sure what. I think jealousy is just a natural emotion a person has when they fear something is going to get in the way of what they want and need, and there is nothing wrong with it, but it's good to learn to trust or it will be hard to have a strong bond at all.

i think jealousy can be a sign of love but it definitely depends on how much jealousy. a little amount of it i would consider a sign of love, but if its an overloaded amount theres a problem and that would definitely be considered selfish

no i think its not a sign of love but the sign of selfishness ...if you are a jealous person then you are also a self-centered. All you could think of is yourself and nothing for your partner.
