Why does most women wants to get thin?

I'm just wondering why most women wants to be skinny? I've talked to 16 of my girl co-employees here in the office, and they all prefer to be skinny. Are you one of them? Why?

There's probably not a girl in the world who doesn't want something better about their appearance. {There might be...} Girls want to be skinny because it makes them look good. They don't want people {as in boys} to think bad stuff about them. Who does? But you can't always get what you want...

Beats me! I've been skinny as a stick for almost my whole life and I don't see anything good about it
