Too much of everything like eating and exercising is not good for you. Fitness should be done within limits and integrated into your lifestyle, done in moderation like everything else in life. If exercising is getting in the way of your daily activities or relationships, you may need to slow down. just like eating disorders, societal pressures to be thin can also push women to over exercise. Over exercise is when someone engage in strenuous physical activity to the point that is unsafe and unhealthy. some studies indicate that young women are compelled to exercise at excessive levels are in danger of developing eating disorders. over exercising and eating disorders go hand in hand, the result of this is an unhealthy obsession with your body. Many people are familiar with the symptoms associated with eating disorders but are unaware that over exercise can also be a factor. It's condition sometimes referred to as exercise bulimia, but that term can also be apply to people who shows symptoms of other eating disorders. bulimia is a disorder because of an exaggerated fear of weight gain, can cause people to eat excessively then vomit or use other measures to get rid pf the calories. Overexercising is seen as an admirable activity especially if theres so many pressures surrounds you, in your culture where there so many pressure to be thin. if you continue to exercise even it's not good for you, that's taking it to an extreme and can lead to a problem. the most helpful thing would be to educate people about exercise is go to gym, gyms could do more limit overexercising by increasing the training of employees and educational resources.

I had this problem myself last year. For about 15 weeks I would go to the gym two times a day and only sleep about 5 hours each night. I lost 30 pounds over the 15 weeks, but then in the last week I caught mono, which promptly ruined everything I had accomplished as I was bed-ridden for a month. I simply overworked my body and didn't rest it enough.
