I have been working with preschool classrooms for the last 3 years. During the Holidays, I have received some awesome, thoughtful gifts. I think it might be easier to buy for female teachers, but what would you give a male teacher as a gift? Share your thoughts. Thanks :)

Well I never buy my three children's teachers a gift either at christmas or at the end of the summer term. Now before you think i am mean with money or anything else, let me explain. In each of my children's classes there is the teacher, a teaching assistant and another helper. To buy nine decent gifts would set me back a lot of money, so what I do is buy a card for the teachers and then buy a gift for the classroom, either a book or a reading cd. That way everybody is happy. The child gets to take a gift to school wrapped up and I don't leave any of the teachers out.

That is a great idea! Teachers love stuff for their classrooms. I know that in our pre-k classroom we have 2 host teachers (lead teachers), and 3 assistant teachers in the morning and 4 assistants in the afternoon. It does get spendy, so I completely understand and appreciate what you are doing. Thanks for your response :)
