how to make b-day party of a hundred year old granny a success?

My great great grandmother (on the maternal side) shall soon be celebrating her centenary. She is sick but alert and we are planning a party to bring her relatives and friends together. Kindly suggest some tips to make our simple party a success.

Wow, lucky you, i never had any granny's reaching that age, but if i were in your situation i would do everything to make sure is a remembered and spectacular one.
First i would contact all her/his old time friends and arrange the transport for them to make sure they make it to the party. Invite your own friends to witness you granny as she reach the century years.
Invite local cultural performing groups to perform some cultural things. Invite the people who you know they are important to her/him, they will always love to have some old time and good friends they had since their growing up years.

Thanks for your invauable tips.
Earlier, we planned to have a big birthday bash. But our granny was against it and asked us to keep a simple party with a selected few.So, we had to see that too, thanks.
