ReviewStream 72-hour waiting period..

I've known about this site for a while but ever so recently I sent in a review.. I believe it was on Thursday at 9pm or 10pm. My question basically is, since I haven't received anything back from them about the review I submitted, do you think that means they just aren't there on weekends? Anyone who's been submitting reviews to them for a while please let me know, thanks! If that's the case I shouldn't hear back from them till' tomorrow or wednesday. For those wondering ReviewStream is, it's a site that pays you $2 per review you submit in good quality, if it's poor quality to ok it's more like. $0.40 for their bulkrate. Pretty high-paying right up front but the residual isn't really that great.

I'm on reviewstream just about everyday. They are now automated. You will know instantly if your' review is accepted and what you are being paid for it. Here's a tip though: Word count is a big deal. More than 500 words automatically gets to 2.00 rate. Anything under gets the bulk rate. Also, make sure to use certain phrases such as, "I felt" and "I liked/disliked" at least twice in your' review or it will be rejected. Afterall, you are reviewing how you felt about the product/service. I have reached payout once since I started and it didn't take very long. Good luck with it! Hope this helps!

Once my first couple of reviews were approved, it went completely automated on me. So maybe that's the trick. Once they approve a couple of your' reviews and know that you will give quality content then your' work will go automated too? That is how it works for me. I had to figure out the word count and the 'I felt' on my own but I know as soon as I write a review what I am getting paid for it. It instantly takes me to a screen that tells me.

Yeah, that would make sense. I'm going to be testing it out soon with your advice so we'll see how that goes. Probably won't know for a week or so though as like I said earlier it's not automated to begin with, apparently!

Thanks for the insightful post! I actually submitted one recently.. and it wasn't automated, is this like. Super super recent? Like. I had to wait about seven days or so(Tuesday night is when they got back to me I believe.) I also did a word count & figured out that my game review was only 433 words. A little bit too short, eh? I did speak based on my opinion of the game but I didn't say "I felt" or "I liked/disliked"(I think I said I liked once.) that much because i've always been taught not to in school lol, it's a badd habit to pick up but if it helps approve my reviews...! Verryy veryy informative. Thanks!

HI, I believe it is taking them more than 72 hours to approve. First time I applied it took 7 days, and they rejected my review.... Yeah, the fact they don't allow you to earn from referrals stinks. They'll also approve more for bulkrate. I have a friend that worked a bit with reviewstream but could have gotten more if he did it with Ciao. Anyways, I'd rather just stick with Ciao as crediting is clearer and processes faster. Goodluck though! Hope you do better than my friend...

Well 72 hours was their max limit or so it said. I think maybe the weekends interfered with it which is why it's taking longer for me and it took longer for you. I was looking into Ciao, what do they pay as compared to Reviewstream at the moment? I sure hope they don't reject my review. I've seen some pretty bad quality one's that ended up there & that means they either got the regular rate or the bulk-rate..., and considering I spent a decent amount of time on it i'm aiming for regular rate lol, then i'll shovel out some basic ones to see how easy it is to get bulk-rate! Thanks for the info.

They operate differently with reviewstream. If you noticed, Ciao was quite popular lately as they had a promo rate of $1 per review (120 words min.). Right now they have returned to thier $0.25 per review. What they added though is a Premium Review Fund of $2000/mo. Monthly the pick a pool of good reviews and all authors divide the $2000. Isn't clear though how many reviews will be entered in the pool. They don't reject reviews, and no waiting time for approval. As long it conforms with thier review guidelines, you'll get paid. You also earn a little more by rating others and even more when other members rate your reviews. It could bump up you review close to a dollar, depending on number of rating recieved. You could also earn by referring others. You earn 50% of thier earnings for six months which is really pretty neat. Incase you decide to join hope you could join with the banner on my profile/website. I have 0 referral... Hope this helps anyway...Goodday!
