Well, I'm just wondering if you guys have the habit of locking your computer in the office.
In my previous company, we must lock our computers whenever we left our desks. This is to prevent some unexpected attendees to look at the information in our computers, as information is considered as intellectual property in my previous company.
Whereas in my current company, my colleagues don't have the habit to lock their computers. What's even worse is that, sometimes my colleague will just come to my computer without acknowledging me and use my computer for fun. If I do not have any personal stuffs opened, it's fine. But sometimes I am chatting with my another colleague, and sometimes we do talk about our office politics, this doesn't seem nice if the conversation has been revealed to someone else.
I always like to lock my computer when I'm away. How about you? Do you have any stories when you didn't lock your computer, and something happened to it?

If some guys use my computer without my allowance, i will be very angry.
For working computer, it's better to be locked when you are away the office.
There is many important information in one's working computer. We have to protect it from stealing.

At my job I dont have a choice. It automatically locks down after being idle for 10 min, which is annoying sometimes if im in the middle of writing something up but is handy since I have access to a lot of areas others on my floor dont, and Id be upset if someone messed w/ it and got me in trouble or did damage to another department.
We also cant "have fun" on our work PCs. The IT dept. keeps a close eye and we get written up for being on non work related sites or posting/ looking up inappropriate content.
