I don't have really lots of friends. Imet them in real life most of them are my classmates and neighbors. If you wanted to have lots of friends you can need to be friendly and approachable. Yes, I am fortunate enough to have many friends in my life. Since I was a kid, I had lots of friends and I earn them as I grew up. Now, I know that my friends are blessings to me because they are the extension of my family. It is hard to find true friends, someone who will be there through your ups and downs. Hi! In real life, I don't have many friends either. We get to know so many people in our lifetime, but true friendship is something that has to be built up and maintained. As for finding friends, how about starting with you immediate neighborhood, or your church, or even at work. If you are shy like me, maybe you can practice with your wife. There was this one time when I was about to go to a social gathering and I intended not to get my shyness in the way, so I actually practiced saying "hi" with a smile, while at home with my little family.
