do you think your pet will protect you if you needed your pet too?

well,i am not sure he will protect me,i have also heard that pets protect their master from harms,but for that sort of pets lots of love and caring is done to the pets those owners are sure to be safe as their pet is with them...well i have a dalmation,he is smart and also caring to me..as i treated him always well,so i think it will protect me...anyways happy lottin..

Our dogs are very smart and would protect us. Before I met my fiance he had his dog thor. Which actually saved his life after a house fire at his parents house. If it wasn't for the dog jumping on top of him and barking, my fiance probably would have burned to death. Our dogs are really friendly but don't like when people threaten or act like they are threatening us. They usually start barking, and let the person know to knock it off. I think dogs are smart and are very loyal to their owners.

Oh yes my dogs have proven so many times that they could watch and protect our house at whatever cost. Imagine I left the door of my house open for the whole day that all of us were out for work. That happened twice and for two times as well my dog watched over the open door so faithfully. Nobody dared to come near the open door because my dog would bark and attack anyone who'd come closer.

I have two little Maltese dogs weighing 5 and 7 pounds, but I know they'd protect me! They become vicious if someone is at the door that they don't know and bark their little heads off!

The larger of the two I'm sure would attack if provoked or if someone intentionally tried to hurt me.

They are very intuitive! Whenever I'm sick, or my husband is sick, they're right there, lying beside us quietly. It's amazing how our pets pick up on things like that!

I am an owner of 4 dogs. There are two fairly big dogs and two little dogs. I think that the one little dog might try to protect me but I do not think that he could. Now as for the big dogs I think that if there was a need for protecting then they for sure would protect me. I think that it is animal instinct to protect their owners. I am glad that I have them.

oh yes and they are our doorbells.
and we have to be very careful who to let in the house if they dont like the way the person smells I guess there is barking and growling going on and if they got to get to them I bet they would bite we have 2 chow chows

I don't have a pet. My daughter has a pet a Siberian Husky, and my daughter has a set of twin boys. Yes I believe the pet will protect the twin's. She has been with them since she was a puppy and she loves them to death. She has that motherly instinct when it comes to those boys.

My big dog (Weimaraner) would just search someone for food if they broke in. My little dogs (Schnauzers) would alert me that there was someone here, and that is the only job I want them to do- they're my alarm system, I'm the armed response.

I think so. My fiance's dog is very smart. For instance, we have two small nieces and when the eldest was learning how to walk, she'd herd her away from the stairs. So, I feel confident that she'd be there if she feels we're in danger.
