I literally cried when Jonas asked his parents if they loved him and they told him "precision of language please." I would not want to live in a society where there was no love.

Hi kittenskysong! I read halfway through the Giver. I got to the part where Jonas was going to move on to the next stage in his life. I stopped reading it but I might get back to that book and start again.
