If you can be an anime character of any anime you like who will it be? why?

I've always wanted to ask someone about their favourite anime character that they want to be and experience what its like to that character. I would like to be Takato Matsuki in digimon Tamer because i would like to have my own digimon that can be like a pet or a good friend and also like to explore the mysterious digimon world and gain experience by adventuring in the digimon world.
