I vividly recall people crying as in the year 1984, BBC broke the news that the Indian Prime Minister, Mrs. Indira gandhi had passed away, assassinated by her body guards. I was in seventh standard and clearly remember we were listening happily to the radio commentary of the ongoing one-day internationals. Our nation was in deep mourning, we cried and could not take food for several days lamenting the loss of a dynamic leader. Did you come across such an incident?
