Profile Dough - Scam??  |

 I'm surprised that I didn't find any discussions about this program. Don't get me wrong, it's probably a good thing that no one is [promoting it. In fact, it appears to have been one big scam. If you're not aware of this program, it payed members for impressions and hits to their banners. The first indication that something wasn't right is that their minimum payout amount was steadily increasing so the perception was that every time a member got near the cashout amount, admin would raise the minimum.
Well, I was within a dollar of the $50 limit as of a day ago. I went in to check my balance and the site said it was suspended due to illegal copyright content on the site. Then, admin placed a redirect to a site called AnimeRumor. This is where I tried to contact admin as the domain is registered to the same person (Whois). I'm sure that I will get no reply. Now, when you go to the website, it just says "This account has been suspended. "
Does anyone else have an account with them? Has anyone been paid or have had contact with the admin there?

Do you think that scammer made any money off the site? Why would someone pay for a site that they're just going to shutdown.

 rjbass (953) | 1 year ago | This website said that it would pay members to basically send traffic to another website by paying them for page views. I didn't have to pay anything to join so I can say admin didn't take my money. What admin did do is not pay me what I earned on a site that he/she owned. I guess it's the same thing.
Anyways, it IS a shame. I was really hoping that this was a legit site. All I really lost was time that I could have spent promoting an honest website. | |

There are more and more nonpaying sites nowadays, and I feel as this economic situation is getting worse, there will be lot more, because there are less and less advertiser. And of course there are lot of sites, that even DONT WANT to pay ever. Actually I have never heard about the before mentioned one, but what you wrote down is sispicious - I mean my guess is that this will not pay. But lets hope.. I spend a lot of time reading forums and getting infos before start a new one. Time is money, and it wort putting time into getting infos, than into clicking for nothing.

I never continued to post their banners since nobody claims to have been payed by the site and minimum payment to cashout is too high. They don't have a forum and the admin never responds to e-mails. So it's not worth it. | |

| 6. xplp211 (226) | 4 weeks ago |  Your topic is online one year ago, but I knew this site just yesterday. It seems a good designed site but with some problem, that is no mention about the payment. So I checked mylot and find your topic. It is very useful, as I know now IT is a SCAM!
I won't waste my time there and will delete the site from my pending list right now.
