yes! When i was in college, my physic teacher changed the way I think in some way and sometimes, some of his words takes took more time for me to understand. He said that when he was a child, his parents took him to a shop to make him a suit. He said that one day, the employer called his parents and him to meet him to take extra measurement. When he got there, he though that the suit was really ugly lol because it was only half done. He saw some cloth hanging here and there. So he told us to never show your work until it's done. I think it applies to alot of things. mainly yesterday when I was assembling my bookcase and though it was shaky until I finished it completely.
Once I told him in a sarcastic way that I wanted to cry because the material he taught was too hard. He said that I can cry, break up things , or do other things but it's not going to change anything. All I can do is to do as much as I can. It hapenned to me that now in univercity, I had lost hope on graduating because of how hard it was. But when I think about his words, I pull myself together and to wasting time crying like a baby on a bad mark I got.
I knew that he is a person that tries to save the environment so when we have to write lab reports, he have to use printed paper. In the last day in class, he said that in the near future, it will be us to take care of the world. He continued on saying that here in Quebec we use hydroelectricity and many think it's not pollluting. IT's wrong. He said that it does pollute. I think that nowadays peopel are ignorant and i am afraid to be like this.

Yes, I have a teacher who inspired me to change for the better...she is my english teacher when during my first year high school...I used to be really shy in class...I don't speak up on recitations and my techer noticed it...she talked to me after class and told me that in life it isn't helpful being just shy and quiet...there will come a time when you need to speak up...not just in front of the class but in real life...that moved me and it changed my perception in life...thanks for this post, I was reminded that I have a truly caring and concerned teacher like her. Happy New Year and Happy mylotting.

My kindergarten teacher, most definitely. I saw her until I changed schools in the fourth grade. But then, even when I wasn't attending the school she was teaching in, she still kept in touch. She sent me a Christmas card every year, with a letter telling about the latest events in her life. In fact, she still sends me a Christmas card, and I'm 27 now! I live in Oklahoma, and she moved years ago to Oregon. Apparently, she stays in touch with a lot of the kids she used to teach. I've moved over the years, but I try to write her back and when I have moved, I've let her know my new address. The caring that woman has is amazing.
