Would you marry a public figure like a film star or a poititican?

I sometimes wonder if an ordinary simple citizen woud marry a public figure. Someone who is always in the public eye. Would that not put a lot of strain on your life? Would you not be suddenly thrown into the media glare and have to watch each word and always keep a good demaneour and dress up for all occasions etc. You will suddenly loose your anonymity.

Ur so funny and cute. :-) You remind me of my niece who was so nuts about Leonardo di Caprio. I remember I even create make believe stories about her and Leo, that makes her giggle up to her bones.
It was her dream to marry Leo too. I used to have a huge crush on Dean Cain, the 90's Superman. I dreamed to be his girl. :-)

I think if you are not accustomed to the lime light it is hard for a normal person to cope with the pressure. However I do believe that if there is true love anything can be overcome.

I totally agree! love conquers all and love covers all things. When there is unconditional love, everything can be possible. We have a couple from the Philippine show business, The man is already a famous actor then the woman was his avid fan. She desired to be the famous actor's wife. She auditioned for a shampoo commercial and got accepted. It turned out her leading man in the commercial, was the actor she desired to be with. Now they are happily married with two kids.

Certainly it will put strains on their life,maybe it depends on what the citizen think about and what kind of life she or he wants to live.in general,it will be thrown into media glare,and caught so much attention,making some people uneasy,or maybe making some excited,it all depends.

Yea i fully agree look at what happened the current vice president his daughter has her erm..."ways of love" and that got put into the media, and that probably irks her off while at the same time makes her just want to hide. every step a politiciian or someone who is related to them makes is going to be recorded , and used against them. I dont think i could handle something like that. even though i admit i would enjoy having jessica simpson:)

Sometimes I think of how cool it would be to be a rock star, or country star or anything like that. But these celebrities have NO privacy what so ever! I would hate being in the spot lot all the time. Anything you know - the public knows. It would be very hard to keep something in your life private. Everyone should have such a thing called a private life. There's just certain things that others don't have to know about you. And I usually don't care to know a lot of what is in the celebrity tabloids. A lot of it is even hard to believe sometimes. I have heard that not all the sources are reliable. I'm sure if you've been a celebrity for a long period of time or all your life you would get used to it. It probably depends on what type of personality you have as well. Some people are just meant to be in the spotlight.

It depends on the person if he or she is ready to face the responsibility of marrying a politician or a celebrity. Being with somebody who is always on the spotlight won't be easy, but if I am really in love and he is in love with me, Why not give it a shot.
The thing is my dream is to become a celebrity then my partner is not. :-)
