memoirs of a geisha the movie...

I think they could have picked a better guy for her as well she is so gorgeous and she is a good actress.

I like all the actors an actreeses, But, the problem is, i already read the book before i saw the movies. I have read so many details and I got very dissapointed because The Geisha is using the wrong hairdo, i mean,... only a Geisha have that style of hairdo and have the right to wear it and they just dismiss it. Its just so wrong!

This is one of my favorite books. In my opinion, Zang Ziyi and Gong Li did full justice to their respective roles. I watched this movie a year ago and I cannot remember the actor who portrayed the role of The Chairman. I read the book, twice actually before it was made into a movie. The "Sakura (or cherry blossoms) scene" between the Chairman and Sayuri was just as I imagined when I read the book. Even if I cannot remember some of the actors, the movie was okay. But personally speaking, I prefer the book though.

The book was so much better! But you know what I really enjoyed the movie and the people who were in it . You know the girl was not japaness at all . I think they did a fine job . But check the book out too . sometimes movies will ruin it tho!

i liked the actress, she played her part beautifully.Book was better than movie but everything shown in movie was good and nice. One can't direct exact as book story, every detail in a such a short hour movie. Altogether its a great watch.

I think the actors were good. Characters were well portrayed. I thought the guy might have been different. He was really what I had thought of. I thought the movie was well done. Scenery and all. It followed the book pretty well also.
