good or bad?

just heard the news this afternoon that dhoni had quarrelled with the selectors for dropping rp singh after just 3 matches and even offered to resign his captioncy...i think this is a good move to stand up for his players and its unfair to drop him just after 3 matches and he didnt play the 3rd match.

well what i think dhoni did was amazing and very much right thing to do. when you have a captain who backs you up, you will give more than 100% to perform and that can be the small difference which can make a big difference in winning and loosing a match. i think that the selectors kind of deserve this attitude from the captain. i think dhoni should do the main picking about the playing team as he is the captain. he knows the best who he needs and so it is his call. obviously selectors will have a say when the new players should be getting a chance and so on. but then the main on field team is something which captain must decide. you give the list of players for a series and then leave it to the captain and the coach to decide. what is your role now.
