Is advertising on PTC sites profitable?

There is many PTC sites which offers to its advertisers huge increase in traffic. But does this mean higher traffic=higher earning for advertiser? I definitely think no. Visitors from PTC sites are usually not interested in the staff which advertiser sells on his site. PTC clicker just want to get paid for that click and that is all. I know it from my self. I click about 8 PTC sites and click them all together, I really have no idea what product are being sold on these site and i do not care about that. I think most of clickers do it this way. So to sum up I think buying advertisement on PTC site is just waste of money and that is the main reason 99% of PTC sites turn into scam really soon. What do you think?
