Wealth that Can Last for 3 Genarations.

Its hard but it can be done. There would just be a lot of problems and other internal affairs to attend to. I mean its still manageable when the kids are in charge of the parents business but when the kids of the kids are left in charge, it might just ignite some family misunderstandings. In some cases, the children want all of the parents wealth to themselves and not share with other siblings. Or they might share but everyone wants to have a larger piece of the pie. Others might want to be in charge of everything, as in be the President and the siblings are just subordinates. I guess the right of succession would be in question but if they set their differences aside and actually work together to maintain the family's old business then I think it would be set up for generations to come.

Yeah,there is one old famous proverb in our country.To say in Chinese is "Fu Bu Guo San Dai",it's also the same meaning of your words.And too many examples proved that the saying was true.But in my opinion,it is possible that wealth can last more than 3 generations and for long.Everything can be controled,of course including the wealth.Hard work and wisdom will help the offspring to holding their ancestor's wealth.

Well, it basically depends on those that will continue to sustain the wealth. It can even last longer if the successors will properly handle it wisely.
