When you get a really lengthy discussion ..more then 5 pages..do you stil answer each response one by one or do you skip a few..if you skip a few how do you figure who to skip:)
Also if you were the person on this long discussoin and you didn't get a response from the one who started the discussion would you be offended?

I wish I would have that kind of responses but I only stopped at 3 pages and I went through all of them without skipping a single response. I owe them, so it would be wise to write a reply to them yet this would depend on the content of the post and the person who started the discussion. We all have our own preference in doing this. I would feel sad if mine would be skipped but there's nothing I can do about it if that's the case may be.

Hi Littlefranciscan,
It varies on the topic, there are topics that will make you compose lengthy response and there are some that is only for one or two sentences. I prefer to respond as based on the topic and not on the length of the discussion. Oftentimes, I just go over with the posts and if I saw one worth commenting I make a comment.
If i am the person why i should be offended Mylot is a site where you put your comments on the perspective of choice and freedom. Although everybody have to follow guidelines set by Mylot.
Nice discussion.
Happy posting

I am glad that you wouldn't take it amiss if someone didn't respond to you..I can see the other side of the coin as well..One just has to learn to go with the flow..and be a person for all people..

i would prefer the shorter discussions and not the lengthy ones as i want to read the discussions and then reply to those but i cant do that for lengthy discussions as i dont find more of time to mylot and i just want to mylot and i complete for the day so i would mostly prefer to respond to the shorter discussions and of my interest but if i dont find more of discussions like i prefer i would then open a discussion which is lengthy too but i would just read the subject and answer to it and i can do this only if the topic is in the form of a question but i am not telling about the discussion which are lengthy about pages together as i am not looking for any philosophy here and i would just skip those kind of discussions and respond to the desired ones.
i would never start of such lengthy discussions about pages together and not even more than five to six lines as i can understand there are a few people like me here and i dont want them to search for like how i do. and you can find most of my discussions are shorter and i think it is almost all. but responding to others discussions it depends if i have more to write i do like how i have done for your discussion.
