Are you debt-free?

Borrowing money is unavoidable. Because of the present crisis most of us are experiencing. But others overdo it. To the point that they can no longer pay for it. And others even resort to high yielding interest. So they are just paying the interest and not the principal amount itself. Are you debt free now?

No I'm no longer be debt free until now I was suffering paying my debt. I really hate to lend money but because of our low income I cannot resist. We are in a high cost of expenses because of our three students and to have this you will be no longer free of any debt. I was trying to be out of it to the best i can. So even here in the internet I'm surfing to add my income. All the best income I ever to find now.

this is one good thing about the internet. for the very resourceful ones, they are able to produce a good amount of money by subscribing to some sites. i am not yet good at this despite having had an internet connection at home for years already. those who are able to do this with results, they are at times the object of my envy. of course, i need that extra income, too. however, i am only comfortabe doing mylot. that's why i am sticking to this site even if there is not much promise of money earnings at all. when i do mylotting, it is not really the earnings that drives me doing it but, the fun i get doing it.

sadly, i will have to admit that i have some borrowings, too. the borrowings is a considerable amount altogether. my good luck at this one though, is the fact that the borrowings are with friends and my mom. meaning, there are no interest payments involved at all. but if i come to think of it, this is a shameful condition. i have failed to remit payments for some years now. they may have understanding hearts about my financial condition at this time but, i feel ashame just the same. so, to answer your question, i say no, i am not debt free. in fact, i am more than knee-deep in debt.

Yah, it is better to borrow from our friends and family members. No interest at all.

Not debt free yet working on it to improve my credit. Also you're right, borrowing money is practically unavoidable. However, when you're in debt and have credit issues you have to really educate yourself about different loan types. Here's a site the has some good tips & advice - http://www.private-bad-credit-lenders.com

My husband and I are not in anyways debt free. When my husband gets back to work, we're going to start paying this stuff down. It's just going to take us a while. I think if I could have a timeframe of no interest, then I'd get a lot further.

Hello There! Well, I am not debt free at the moment since I have a loan in a bank and some credit card to pay for few months. I thought that I would never ever allow myself to borrow money from a loaning company/bank but I was wrong, hehehe… we needed it for to support my sibling’s studies. They are all in college. I am just lucky since I can still pay them in time. I guess the number 1 rule in borrowing money is to make sure that you can pay it with your minimum or so. I am hoping to finish paying my credit card in few months. Whewww… Cheers!

At least you have a valid reason for loaning. Not just to spend it on non-sense things.

Nope i'm not debt free but me and my wife have consolidated our credit cards and are working on getting debt free by 2010. It's going to take a little while but it will be worth it in the long run.
