Well it happened to me quite recently too, I said something about someone who I really value as a friend in the hope that they would find the humour in it and we would have a good laugh. The person however, considered it of poor taste and might not talk to me again. Can you imagine how badly I now feel. The thing is I have always considered myself a very humourous person and my friends are always laughing at my jokes and my obviously well-intentioned sarcasm, consequently I thought it would work for all, however I think this one time I went too far and may loose a dear friend.Help me analyse this situation.
Is it that my sense of humour is not as good as I thought? or
Is it that the person misunderstood my intentions(this I believe to be the case)or
Is the person as sensitive as much as she is sweet (this too may be possible)
Maybe the person doesnt know me as well as we both hoped so as to know that I am pefectly harmless and would never hurt a fly much less someone I cared about (I am so harmeless its like taking candy from a baby - there I go again with my sense of humour - you would have thought I would have learned !!)
Please help me ananlyse this situation and tell me what to do!!!!!!
