Questions About the Wii

What exactly is so good about the Wii aside from the motion based controls? I am a Wii owner, a PS2 owner, and a GameCube owner. In my experience with the Wii every time there is a game released on Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, and PS2 the Wii version is usually quite a bit different from the PS3 version but the Wii version is exactly the same as the PS2 version aside from motion controls. I would like to see a noticeable difference in the Wii version from the PS2 version! I mean noticeably better graphics and not stripped down as much as the PS2 versions of games are! I really expect the Wii to not have graphics as good as the Xbox 360 but I never expected it to have the same graphics as the PS2 console! The Wii is not only more powerful than the PS2 but it also has more RAM! The fact that adding more RAM alone can improve graphics prooves that the Wii is capable of doing better graphics! The Wii has more than just added RAM though! It also has a much more powerful CPU and GPU! The Wii could easily have graphics at least two times better than the PS2 but yet every time a multiplatform game is released you can tell it's just using the PS2 graphics and the game itself is identical to the PS2 version aside from motion controls and online play. So my question is for multiplatform games why even get a Wii? The Nintendo games are good but I'm not talking about those games! I'm talking about the games that are realeased on every console! The Wii version seems to always be exactly the same as the PS2 version! I already had a PS2 before I bought a Wii! I don't want more PS2 games for my Wii! I bought a Wii because it was supposed to be better! Not the same last gen crap with a cool controller! For god's sake they could have made a Wii remote for the gamecube and it would have been pretty much the same as having a Wii! WHY WHY WHY ARE MULTIPLATFORM GAMES THE SAME ON WII AS THEY ARE ON PS2!!? IS IT THAT HARD FOR THE DEVELOPERS TO SPEND A LITTLE MORE MONEY TO DELIVER A BETTER QUALITY GAME ON THE WII? I KNOW THE GRAPHICS WOULDN'T EVER BE AS GOOD ON WII AS THEY ARE ON PS3 BUT THEY CAN DEFINITELY BE BETTER THAN PS2 QUALITY! THIS HAS BEEN SEEN ON MARIO GALAXY!!! BUT NEVER ON MULTIPLATFORM GAMES ARE THE GRAPHICS BETTER THAN PS2 QUALITY AND I AM GETTING SICK OF IT! And it's not just graphics! The Wii versions of multiplatform games are usually just as stripped down as the PS2 versions!
