I enjoy looking at things that people consider "vintage" Old telephones, old books for patterns, or just old books. I also enjoy some of the older styles of sewing machines, televisions, and food utensils. I think that it's quite fun to see all of these things and the way people used them back when they were more popular. Do you think the vintage way of doing things is the way for you? I know that now that people need to be more frugal, or have to be more frugal, that some of these things are coming back. Maybe not in the machinery, but the actions. Crafting is getting more popular now, and as well it should.
Do you like vintage?

I love vintage furniture and old photos and anything from back in the day. I also love old historical homes. They use to make homes so huge and they had a lot of architectural details that no newer homes can even come close to in design. I like to collect vintage jewelry and boxes . I also like to make vintage style jewelry and crafts. I really want to buy a Victorian style sofa and love seat now. But I plan on saving up for one once My son get's a bit older, he's still at the age to where he's messy with food and drink and I would die if he spilled juice on my Victorian sofa!..lol

Photographs are always fun to look at too, I agree. Old homes are a beauty to look out from the outside, but t.v's the only time I get to see them from the inside. We live in a small county and one of our attractions is the houses! Well, Jewelry is also beautiful, I love Pearls and just what they stand for, even though I'm not even sure of that.. lol. Yes, I would definitely wait until your son is older before getting the sofa, although you could always get plastic for it until he's old enough to hold the cup without spilling.
Even my fiance and I still spill though.. lol
I appreciate the response.

Oh, that must be such a fun hobby! I've not really looked into stores or thrift shops for vintage things, but then again I haven't really been in a thrift show.. lol..
Well I am glad you love vintage stuff, Vintage is classy...
I appreciate the response.

I like a lot of old furniture and I certainly love the clothes of the 60's, and a lot of the old nick nack things, I think there was a lot more class in a lot of things from years ago...things seemed to look more expensive...

You know, that's true. Thing had an elegance about them. Well I've always been a fan of history, well at least history of "antiques".
I appreciate the response.
