'08 tour...anyone seen Neil Diamond  

I've never been to a Neil Diamond concert. I do like him though. My dad is a HUGE fan of his. I remember when i was a kid he went to 1 of his shows & my dad LOVED it. He traveled quite a distance & enjoyed it very much.

My sister saw Neil Diamond many years ago. He was her favorite male singer, until she heard Robin Mark - though she never saw him. I would love the opportunity to see Mr. Diamond, for I believe he is one of the finest performers out there. If you get, go on youtube and do a search for Neil Diamond and Barbara Streisand's "You Don't Bring Me Flowers" to see how good a live performance can be. Both stars exhibit the kind of professionalism that all of us musicians and singers need to have.

I'd say, by all means, see him if you can. He's a classy kind of guy.

BUT I am trying again! I dont personally go to concerts of people as great as my hero Neil!! I am so afraid that I will be sooo far from him I wont see his face and hear him properly and that will surely spoil it for me, EVEN more so than watching baseball games in the stands when you are in the nosebleed bleachers and cannot see the faes or the signals.

Better to see it 'live' (haha) on TV!!I have watched videos of him and, man,, can I tell you I soo want to see him in person.. right upfront is good or a few rows back.. I just want to really quietly, without voices in my ears or people screaming, hear that voice and see clearly the expressions on his face, the face of one of my great idols ever,, because when he sings it, I feel it, in my heart and soul..
