Do you think the Jets would be this good if Chad Pennington were quarterback?

I am asking this question as a fan of football. I am not a big Jets fan even though I am from Ny. But I'm asking all you football fans out there, with the way the Miami Dolphins have been playing this year, and with Chad Pennington at quarterback, I'm pretty sure it's safe to say that we all expected the Dolphins to be the worst team in the league this year. Especially since they only on one game last year. But surprisingly they have a decent record and are playing better than most people expected. They aren't going to the playoffs, at least I don't think. And Mr. Pennington has done better than most people thought he would. So the question I want to know, with the Jets playing as well as they are right now on both sides of the ball, and now they're in 1st place after the win against the 1st place Tennesse Titans, would they be in the same position if Pennington was still there instead of Brett farve? What do you think?

This is a tough question to answer because we don't know. What we do know is that the Jets were 4-12 last year with Pennington before Favre came. The Jets improved in every aspect this year (offensive line and defensive line). The Dolphins are doing good this year and better than expected and I think most of that credit should go to Pennington. Right now, the Jets are 8-3. I think with Pennington, they might of been 6-5, or 7-4. Favre is a better QB than Pennington. I think they would have been tied for first or a game back of the Patriots.
