Marion Jones has caused my children to starve!!!

No one has actually come out and made this statement but the second place and third place finishers could have legitimately made this claim.I will atempt to justify this view.
Marion Jones has now come out and admitted to using performance enhancing drugs.She was stripped of all her medals,sentenced to a couple months in some minimum secutity facility and had to pay back all her earnings and endorsement.many persons believe that this along with the public humiliation and fall form grace is sufficient,punishment equals crime,but is it?
Can she really pay back all those sprinters who honestly did their best and came in second and third .Can this undo all the praise and acoolade that they missed including having their names written in the record books.Can you get back the same feeling of accomplishment when you now get the gold medal in a little back room ceremony (if you get that much)while she got hers in front of millions of eyes and cameras flashing amidst much fanfare .Not to mention the numerous newspapers headlines that she stole from you.
Most important though is the numerous endorsement deals that should have been yours,will she repay that no.Unknown to many persons is that many international athletes really make their money and stealing this from you is like stealing your livelihood,the many Nike 's and Puma contracts you should have had.The worst part is you wont be getting these contarcts now,maybe you have retired from active athletics.Who compensates you for all that lost revenue.
