I totally think that the money spent setting up the internet and paying for it every month could quite possibly override the benefits of working online. It's definitely not enough to pay the rent and the bills. It's more like...pocket change.

I haven't earned anything by working online, yet. I'm a single mother who was part of layoffs at the company I worked for in 2007. Since then, I have been going to school and graduated with my AA this year. Now I am in an online school and going after my Bachelors. Since I receive housing assistance, I have been living off of my savings, child support and unemployment. My unemployment is about to run-out and I am about to get an online job, working for a friend, that pays $25/hour, but it's only 8 hours a week...that's $200 a week which is pretty much what I'm living on now. Under normal circumstance, I don't see how anyone can survive off of online jobs if they need lots of money, but since I don't need much, I don't need to make much. Happy MyLotting!

I wouldn't say so.It is a question asked by many on many forums and the answer always comes back as no.I think we are all looking for that opportunity with no success.

I don't think that you can because it's hard to tell what's real and what's just a scam. A lot of sites advise you not to try to make a living off of the internet, but tell you that it is a good way to get some extra money.

i do believe that you can survive by working online. the trick is to find a good paying job. but that will probably be hours upon hours of sitting looking at a computer screen. is it really worth it??

I guess I'm confused at what your asking. Many people have chosen to outsource their work. That being said a lot of things can be done via the internet. This includes web design, IT personnel etc. Because computers have such a wide use as does the world wide web it is possible to make money 'online'. However are you speaking of just strictly online money (such as surveys etc?) iF that's the case I don't know if he could survive. But question is.. does he seem to be surviving. If so there's your answer :)

It probably cost more money paying for internet than the money earned online... So i'd say no... xD
