Graphics display problem with my new notebook..  

There are a lot of lap tops that cannot support the Aero features of Vista. Thus you will have to do with out that screen saver as most laptops do not allow you to upgrade th a discreet video card sorry.

There is a law suit about this exact same thing going on right now in the US. I makes me glad i made the jump to Linux.

Vista, is one of failed product of Mircosoft
One thing you need to remember, never ever buying new release software from microsoft until it is mature or widely accepted by public.
One of the reason why Vista failed, is a driver support. Many devices are not supported by Vista.

Contact your seller, and ask them if it is possible to downgrade your Vista to XP using the license key. I believe this could be done.
You better of with windows XP.

You can run windows vista on it and thats what the company meant by "it supports vista".They did not say anything about vista being able to work in its full fledged form did they?.vista from microsoft was a much hyped operating system but the problem is that it needs a lot of resources to run(RAM and graphics)and it uses directx 10 and all other similar stuff new.So most of the market softwares and other things dont work on it very well but in the long run it will succeed.Microsoft is also planning to launch another OS called windows 7 by next year.If you want to run windows vista home premium with its full features you have to have a decent graphics card atleast of 256mb and 1gb of RAM.

Maybe try getting updated drivers for your video card. Just do a search for which ever card you have and look for updated drivers that work with vista. In vista you can right click your desktop > goto personalize > Display settings > advanced > adapter. It should tell you which adapter you have. You can also click properties there and the next window click drivers. There you will find the driver date and also a update driver button. It can search for drivers from windows but it usually doesnt find new ones. I'd recommend trying to find new drivers.
