first impressions doesn't last - i mean, it doesn't apply to everyone.
when i first noticed her in tv, i was thinking - what the h3ll? lol.
BUT.
it all changed when i chance upon watching her when she had a guesting in Moms (QTV 27).
she's very smart, intelligent, has a great sense of humor and charming - yes, i have to admit that she is. even if her being unique with her fashion sense is sometimes misunderstood but i love her. her imagination is something and i love how she express herself.
and plus, i didn't know she's an interior designer. not until i saw her show, house life, in QTV.
how about you guys and gals. i mean, i know we have different opinions - but her as a socialite, a showbiz personality - how do you rate her? is she beyond her style or what. lol.

Well, I think Tessa Prieto-Valdes is a very stylish person. She is such a fashionista. She really looks different from the other artists since she dresses uniquely sometimes. I have nothing against her since we are all entitled to express ourselves and dressing differently is her way of doing it.
I think you is not deserving to win in Celebrity duets since her voice doesn't really sound good. I think she just won because of text votes. People loved her and her style though it should not be the basis really.

ahaha! i remember she mentioned that in "Ang Pinaka".
she said that one of the reasons why people had their picture taken with her is for Friendster and not because they want to win her in Duets.

People probably think that she is like a mascot or something like that.

Same as you, I also considered her as a woman with 'strange' or 'weird' fashion sense when I first saw her on a local tv show. But there was this certain show on GMA Channel 7, which I can't recall the title now, where she was one of their guests for that night. In this particular program, she stated that one's accessories need not be as expensive as it looks. My first impression of her was that, I really thought she made it a point to always dress up as if there isn't anything she does in life, or in short a very 'vain' person.
I'm quite familiar with the 'House Life' show you mentioned because I do catch a glimpse of her everytime I take a leave from my job at a local bank. Now I know that she's not weird or vain as she looks.

it may have been duets? the one where she won as the grand winner on the first season. it's their second season now. or i may be wrong.
she has a lot of TV promotions. lol. thanks for posting mike. more power to you and to your family. =)

I didn't get to watch Duets when she won there, but I've heard about it sometime later. I know she's not that good in singing but I guess texters were so much fascinated with her fashion style.
Anyway, thanks for the good tidings and enjoy the holidays.

well i thought she's just an attention seeker. but i admire her because she doesn't care whatever people think about her. because me, i have plenty of crazy ideas in mind but i always think of what people may say, and that sucks right? she lives a happy life unafraid to show what she got. truly an empowered wqoman.

Tessa really is an icon of weird or beyond the ordinary fashion and that is how she wants to be known for. She doesn't care if people will criticize her taste but since she has now became an icon in the industry, at least she was able to reach her goals.
People may think that she's a social climber - well - that person should read more about her life story. she's an aristocrat and an achiever.
She won't be able to be on the socialite scenes if she's not ONE of them.
