Scotlass (43) | 1 year ago |  I have for years used Windows Media Player and LOVED it - that is, until recently when, for no rhyme or reason it failed to work, it lost all the codecs, licences, files etc,. what a nightmare!! I downloaded and re-installed it - no luck, after 3 days of panicking that 400 tracks had been wiped out, I downloaded Winamp and hey presto, all my files were there!!!!
I now ONLY use Winamp on my computer and it's great.

I like Windows media player as I can do everything in it plus certain add on things than other players
Generally I need playlist which is supported in Media player also
I find its play quality better than others

As far as my best full purpose media player, none of them. My favorite media player is VideoLan Client. You just can't beat it. It just seemly plays everything.
