Do you rate your responses based on number of sentences ?

I was reading some responses to a discussion I wrote when I realised a popular sentiment of not rating one-liners as positive and even worse as best responses. I usually try to respond using more than one line and also like to see large responses .However ,I will not generalise all one liners as an indication of the level of thought that goes into the response and to give supporting eveidence I take you back to topic in english back in high school, called summary.Now to summarise a paragraph into a few lines back in high school was like removing a teeth because I just could not see how to put so many lines into jus a few lines.In the same vein I believe we shouldnt generalise one liners as it may be quite difficult to put a response into one line and yet enable that one line to thoroughly speak to the issues,infact maybe oneliners should get good reviews based on that fact

I think it is more important what is said. Not how long the post is to say it. quality content is better than the number of words it takes to get the point across.

I never seem to be able to say what I want in a few words.It takes me ages to explain what I have to say.I don't understand how some people can make them selves understood in two lines.It is really difficult to answer a few lines and give an answer,how can you get out what you want to say in a few words,because I certainly cannot.

There are some who can though ,I must admit ,I have trouble like I said .I think though that sometimes one liners can be saying just as much as the long paragraphs because some of them arent saying much .Its like the comment before says its about quality and not quantity.Mind you some people are better able to express themselves in many lines like you and do it well
