Yippee!! Our little chihuahua mixed dogs can go out too where there's a fenced yard for them to play in!! Now when we go up north to paint my parents old place, my cats can come and go as they please! I can't imagine cooping up 10 cats in the house for a week or more.... oh my gosh, I can see the mess now! Shredded curtains and stuff all over the floor, cabinets opened and contents knocked over..... I'll pass on that idea and not to mention, cat hair from fights out of frustration... again, no thanks! lol Hubby put it in yesterday and did a fantastic job!! I was really impressed!! I was pretty fearful of the rattling of the saw would break the windows but it didn't, thank God! Now we're going to have to leave the glass part of the door off until we can get it cut and then find a way to cover the edges so the cats won't get cut. We haven't found anything that would work yet so I'm asking YOU.... do you have any ideas of what we could use? If we don't find something by the time we leave here then we'll just have to leave the glass part off for now.
We have a really nice couple who have cats themselves to come and care for ours while we're gone. We're taking our 3 dogs with us. It's going to be eventful to say the least!
AND by the way, my nephew has been kicked out!! FINALLY!! But of course as luck would have it, dad kicked him out during Christmas time so that means, I may not have the time to put up Christmas decorations and that I do have many of. That really stinks because I love decorating and seeing it for a little more than a month. I usually start on Black Friday but we can't see putting up a tree and leaving for a week for the cats to destroy. NOPE, isn't happening and it may not even happen when we get back because we might be too tired OR we'll just put the tree up and nothing else. We'll have to see how it goes but in the mean time, this is our new cat door and my hubby's holding it. He was making all kinds of faces when I snapped the picture but darn it, I didn't catch any of his faces. He's just too quick for the time delayed camera. Oh well. It was fun laughing at him though!! He's quite a character!!
Ok, you cat lovers, do you have a cat door or a cat window? We have both!! lol The cat door is weather resistant but the cat window isn't.

Hubby did a fantastic job installing the cat door. You and hubby has been very busy this month. Don't work him too much the both of you need a break.. It is good to see you happy and doing things you like together. I hope you also take time out to enjoy the holidays.
Have a great trip to your moms place and hurry back.

I'd love to do a cat door or a dog door. However, I don't think it's pheaseable somewhere like here where our temps drop quite drastically and tons of snow.
