Plaxico Burress shoots himself in the leg inside a club.

So it's just been reported that Burress has shot himself in the leg inside a club before sunday's game against the redskins. I don't get it with these athletes. I'm not saying that a guy doesn't have the right to go out and enjoy himself, but when you have to carry a gun whith you is it worth it? Does he not have security around him for protection? It's bad enough he has been on bad terms with his team with all the suspensions and heavy fines. But now he accidently shoots himself in the leg at some club this past friday. What is your opinion about this? Is it okay for an athlete to be partying a few days before a game regardless if he's on the injured list or not? I personaly think that it would be in the best interest of any player to show his maturity and and responsibility to the rest of his teamates and to his organization that he can handle himself in a respectable manor.
