Just wondering how many of my mylot family tend to celebrate x-mas early. The thought came to mind because my mother decided to give my sister and I our gifts early- she bought us both the new Dell mini laptop. Do you give early x-mas gifts? Do you like recieving them early? Or does it kill the excitement of Christmas for you?

I also received my first Christmas gift this year just yesterday. I was so happy
. My boyfriend bought me a pair of really expensive jeans. We went to the mall yesterday and I went there just to accompany him to buy a new pair of shoes but he bought me the pants, paid it without me knowing. He told me that he knew how much I love those pants and it won't make a difference if he gave it to me early. So I am feeling that Christmas is here already,
. For me it has no difference. Christmas can be celebrated throughout the year whether with gifts or none at all. As long as the thought it there, that's the most important.
You must be happy with your new laptop! That's cool.

Thats awesome that he bought you the jeans early! I am super excited about my mini laptop and haven't been off of it for more that a few hours since recieving it...lol. You could say I have found my addiction to mylot returning, because the new laptop makes me want to mylot away...lol.

Congrats on your Christmas gift. I would much prefer to wait until the occassion. There won't be much if any exchanging of gifts around here this year. I may make a few gifts to give, but other than that, there isn't anything left after paying the bills.

Thanks terri- I sure am excited about it. I told her that since she has given it to me so early- she can go ahead and wrap the empty box and put it under the tree for "gp" ...lol.

That is a good idea to do christmas early for the adults and right on time for the kids! kudos to you guys for thinking ahead and staying ahead of the christmas game.
Isn't it funny that the older children get- the more expensive toys they ask for :)
