I love you because I need you OR I need you because I love you

Well would say one is better. Coz one needs a lot in life and says these words to a lot of people. But what good is it. I would hearing the words "i love you" when they are meant by the person. When i write meant means it carries value in that person life. It would mean the trust the person has in me, cosiders me loyal,honest, has understanding between us. Infact even if they are not said and the compatibility and togetherness can spell it all without being said. I feel in todays world these words carry less weightage. What carries more weightage is the kind of things attached with the person which are to meet up ones materialistic needs.

I think there is no choice because they are exactly the same question but worded slightly differently.

If you love someone then you need them and they need you. To need is to love. It is just a different word for the same thing in my view.

But I know what you are trying to say, I think. Does need come before love or after. In that case I think that love comes first and when that love is cemented then need follows on and becomes one.

I need you because I love you means that you dont actually love that person, it means that you love something or someone else and that you are just using the person you are saying "I Love You" to.
I need you because I love means that you love someone so much that you are unable to live without him/her.
Under no circumtance should you say option one as a lot of people could get hurt by this, unless of course you are telling truth (which would be just wrong)
If you choose to say option two and if it is the truth thn you are one of the luckiest person in the world.

Well to me, I would prefer the second one. The first one to me is kind of something which is not love sometimes.

in my own opinion both of them are wrong, when loving somebody we need not to put a bound in loving, we should give ourselves freely. just love and love and sky is the limit!

I think, the first, implies self-centeredness to the one saying it and the second, it implies dependence to the one being loved.
For me, love is something you give unconditionally, without expecting or demanding anything in return.
So, I'd rather hear "I love you" without the "because".

If you love someone you need them.
Love is unconditonal, w/out expectations and demands.

I prefer to choose i need you because i love you, but if i can make the third option i will choose I love you because i love you that's sounds better for me anyway hehe, i need someone that can love me either
