 with the release of a grand master rated quest called while gutix sleeps, jagex have introduced the long awaited dragon platebody and dragon claws.
the plate is currently selling for around 35-40 million gp, and is the new must have in runescape.
the claws are in a little more demand, but are certainly a lot cheaper at around 200-300k a pair.
yesterday i bought dragon platebody (yes i have more money than sense), and i am currently working towards doing the quest (i have summers end to finish and to go off and kill bork), though i bought the plate to see if i needed while guthix sleeps to be able to wear it, which i am happy to say, you don't!
even without doing the quest you can wear the plate, so long as you have 60 def.
i personally think the release of the plate is fantastic, especially sice i never thought they would after the released "dragon spinning plates"... perhaps now they will bring out the dragon kite shield now too (they have also released a dragon flying kite as a joke).

1.  gbeast95 (317) | 1 year ago |  awesome!!!!! they released a draon platebody?? if that's true then that means that they are only missing a draong kiteshield(which as you said they made a flying kite with a dragon picture as a joke). anywayz i saaw the "while guthix sleeps" thing on the runescape homepage and if i become a member anytime soon my new amount i need to earn is about 60m. but dragon's overpriced so i'll get 70 atk and 70 def before i become a mem and skip straight to barrows.

for part of the while guthix sleeps reward, you get a lump of dragon metal, which can be turned into a dragon plate body (99 smithing though) the lumps of metal are tradable though, 12m gp yesterday in the grand exchange. | |

You think you could make your avatar pic a pic of it so I can see it? Anyway...dragon claws? wow I am going to start seeing alot of pures walk around with those on I bet... Is the plate better than barrow armour ( the barrow plate I mean)? Or is it still low? even though that is still kind of high for a platebody( lol just buy dh and pwn)

| arcanis25 (22) | 1 year ago | The special always works the same, you hit 4 times, your base hit, half of your base hit, half of that, then that again plus one.
say your base hit is 40, which is close to the max for maxed players, it would hit 40 20 10 11. Say you hit 20, your spec would be 20 10 5 6.
I like these even more now that I know you can spec twice:p
