Which do you prefer Coldplay or Radiohead?  

I would have to say Coldplay. They are outstanding and I really love their style of music. I have all their albums and love to listen to them everyday.

Radiohead are good but I do not own any of their albums. I do like some of their songs though.

I know it's a matter of personal likes, but I really think radiohead has given a lot more to music than most bands. As you mention, they come up with new sound on their albums.

I prefer Radiohead over Coldplay anyday. Coldplay is kind of whiny and boring where as Radiohead actually has diversity to their songs.

Thats a tough one I eally liked coldplays new album, those songs where a little more developed than the songs in the last few albums which you said did and probably do sound the same. However there are people who like that aspect of coldplay and that is why they prefer them. However considering your arguments I have to agree that radiohead is the better band is they diversify more and experiment with thier music and lyrics.

Radiohead is my absolute favorite band! But Coldplay is still really good, they were my favorite band until I discovered Radiohead, I do agree with you that a lot of Coldplay songs sound the same, and they're style never progressed until the Viva La Vida album. I like Radiohead because of they're uniqueness, and the emotion that comes from listening to their music. I love how each Radiohead album has a different sound/style to it, and you can tell by listening to them that they are composing and playing just for the love of the music, not for the fame or the money. They are amazing!!!

They are both good, so don't make me chose!
