I was talking to a lady who told me she had a hysterectomy about 7 years ago. For her recovery the hospital put her in the materinity ward! I think that's kind of cruel, especially for her since her and her husband had tried and tired with no luck. I think it was her choice to have it done. Wouldn't that kind of mess with your head? to be recovering from that kind of surgery while hearing all kinds of babies crying and people coming to visit new mothers? Also this is kind of related too: I guess they said on the news that when Caylee Anthony was born the doctors gave her to her grandmother instead of Casey? I don't know the circumstances of why this was but I think that might mess withy our head too? Why wouldn't they give her to the mother first?

I a;lso was put o the Matrnity wards when I miscarried. It was traumatic but they did not have anywhere else to put me. It is hard to get over though and I am so sorry for that lady. I do hope that she was abler to adopt a baby and move o with her life. We just don't know what will happen next in ourlives do we? Good posting!

When I had my hyseterectomy, I was also put in the maternity ward. It was very hard for me and I had 4 children. It is hard enough going threw a hysterectomy, it brings out many emotions. I agree that they should put the woman going threw this in a different place in the hospital.
