I'm totally guilty of this. My fiance and I have 4 animals. We recently got our dog and she only has a couple toys and her treats are getting low, so for Christmas she is getting a couple new toys and more treats.
The cats each got new catnip pillows, they get new ones each year as their old ones start to look quite disgusting by the time they get new ones.
But we also don't have kids, so I'm sure once we do we won't be spending that extra money on the pets.

Yeah, I'm guilty. But, I have an ulterior motive. I buy my dogs each a rawhide toy. That usually keeps them occupied while we unwrap our gifts. The dogs are too busy chewing away at their "gift" to notice anything else! LOL
We have two cats, too, but they don't get anything. I mean, they're cats! They just kind of sit there looking impatient as if to say, "Just WHEN are you going to be finished with this nonsense and get over here and feed me?"

I love my pets like they were little kids but ummmm no I will not be buying them any presents. I buy them chew ropes and toys all year so this covers it....lol They are spoiled. I do have friends that will buy their dogs gifts though. To each his or her own. lol I'd rather buy something else.
