| But I notice lots of changes in myself that I am embarrassed too. I gain so much weight that I don’t even want to look in the mirror anymore. I am fat and see rolls in the mirror even without my glasses on. I need help. I been reading about a “ACAI Berry Supreme” and Bromalite (a colon cleanser) I want to know if anybody tried this diet plan before? Acai helps you lose weight by reducing your hunger, and Bromalite cleanse your body. Is that healthy? http://tammy-weight-loss.... I found this site online. | | The one thing that really helps me sculpt my body and burn fat is resistance training. As you build more muscle, muscle burns fat. It also increases your metabolism. The regimen that has worked for me for years is weight training twice a week, one day for upper body and one day for lower body. From a nutrition aspect, I eat three to four small meals a day, keeping food to chicken, fish, vegetables, and fruit. I eat very little in terms of sweets and drink lots of water all day. It wasn't easy at first, but I really wanted to look and feel better. After awhile, it became part of my lifestyle. Two summers ago, I broke my ankle and could not work out for several months. To top it off, I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism. To make a long story short, I gained about 15 pounds during this time and stopped my workout routine for about a year and a half. Needless to say, I started to turn into a big, fat marshmallow. lol! I am happy to report I am back on the above regimen and have lost 7 pounds over the past three months. It's a little slower going with the thyroid condition, but I'm pretty sure I can lose the last 8 pounds soon. I haven't tried the ACAI but would like to for the health benefits. I have done the colon cleanse thing and used a product from the health food store containing natural psyllium. Even my doctor recommended it, which includes a tablespoon in juice once a week. Also, if a gym membership just isn't in the budget right now, walking every other day, or even every day, 30-45 minutes, helps burn fat really well. It also helps you stay positive since you're able to start right away. Hopefully, some of the above is helpful, and it really does work over time. Yeah, it sucks when we age and our body fat also store and expand like rubber band and you are right, I look like marshmallow....:( Thank you for sharing your experience about colon cleansing, I will checkout the health food store for them instead of trying to buy them online. I been walking on the weekend because that is the only time I have time, when I take my daughter to art class I wait for her. The class is 15 miles from our house, so it is wiser to wait around for her. So I spend 50 minutes walking around the neighbor. But I know, this is too late, but for now, I rarely have any time. I work until 7pm and then I need to come home and take care of the kids and get them ready for bed. Then at night, do school work. I hope I can start losing more weight soon once I also start walking more during the summer. | | | |

| | I wouldn't try anything other than eating less and working out some. it doesn't get more complicated than that, I wouldn't try any pills or wierd diets. if you change your eating habits and work out a little you'll probably see a big difference. | | | | | | |
