| 4. tangorange (58) | 1 year ago | I love the Twilight Series. The movie is good but not as great as the story in the book itself. The Actors is exactly what I imagined Edward and Bella would look like and also the other characters except for Jasper. It looks like he's always high with drugs or something.

frozenthrone (239) | 1 year ago | Got that right friend, Jackson Rathbone (Jasper Cullen) was a little weird in the movie - but he is totally cute- he seemed like always high. He's supposed to have al little humor as what I've read in the novel. Happy lotting!

wayz12 (1066) | 1 year ago | I found the actor who plays Jasper totally hilarious. Everytime he gets screen time, I just have to laugh..LOL..Doesn't he remind you of Edward Scissorhands?

|
| tangorange (58) | 1 year ago | Totally! He seems to be clueless all the time in the movie. Where in fact in the book he sort of have a calming power.=)

frozenthrone (239) | 1 year ago | Definitely right! he reminds me of Edward Scissorhands. Even if Jackson don't wear make-up, he looks like Johnny Depp. hehehe....

5. jlamela (2743) | 1 year ago | Very wonderful. I watched Twilight with my friends and we watched it twice, which is so unusual because we don't normally seat in theaters for 5 hours just to watch the film twice, but we couldn't help but watch it again, including other moviegoers. The story is so simple but you can feel its sweetness and freshness that you can help but gasp with excitement, it seems that you are young again and set to meet your Prince Charming in the prom. I mean the story is perfectly done and very very sweet.
The episodes where Edward and Bella exchanged tender love dialogues for about 5 to 6 minutes make your heart leap and jump that the moviegoers can't help but giggle. It was very inspiring, the extraordinary romance between a human and a vampire (a non-threatening vampire)pump sensation and emotion, never mind if the global audience find it unproductive which did not follow the books.
Of course film adaptation is always different from the book itself, this is the common trend in the world movie industry. So Twilight is no strange to this trend. But the amazing story of Edward and Bella that crosses lines between two unlikely worlds is enough to fuel one's fantasy of a wonderful movie experience.
A gorgeous, mysterious hunk who is actually a 108-year-old vampire and appeared to be just 17 years old physically is smitten with a very sweet and shy girl, together, they conquer odds with their extraordinary circumstances and formed a wonderful bond of eternal love build in trust and affection. So how can you not fall in love with that?

6. frozenthrone (239) | 1 year ago | I was really confused why my office mates gone crazy over this movie, their anticipation was too high long before it was shown here in our country. In times of crisis they still have the money to spend over a movie that I wasn't really sure if it's a good one. I was so curious especially when I read their posters 'The best-selling novel after Harry Potter', I got intrigue so I went straight to the movie house alone to check it out. Indeed, I stood corrected after I saw the movie. It was totally a chick flick and I still don't have the strength to get over it, I even watched it seven times now and I don't know what's wrong with me.
Well, simply because Rob Pattinson (Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter 4 - Goblet of Fire --that's why he seemed familiar to me) portrayed the role of Edward Cullen so well that I would like to give two thumbs up to those people responsible for letting him play the role after those 3000 people who auditioned. I just finished reading all the novels until 'Breaking Dawn' and the story was really amazing though there are some boring parts but still it was really good. I can't get Rob out of my mind, he's so cool and cute and totally everything. Kristen Stewart on the other hand is somewhat not too convincing playing her role. As I read the book Bella is supposed to be fragile and weak but she was too aggressive and harsh on the movie. Great job Stephenie Meyer I hope she still have a continuation for Breaking Dawn or should I say continue on 'Midnight Sun'.
I would suggest that you read the whole novel (Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn) and you'll keep picturing Rob's face in your imagination as you'll go through the story. I just love it! Please anyone help me cause I can't get over it... Happy Mylotting.

8. wayz12 (1066) | 1 year ago | I've read the books, and I watched the movie. I thought it was a fun movie to watch. I mean, its not going to get any awards for acting or whatever, but it was entertaining enough that I enjoyed my two hours inside the movie theater.
I have to admit I did go in with low expectations, considering that movies based on books, don't usually turn out the way I want. Still, I feel the movie try to stick with the book plot, but made changes that is necessary for a film format. It's actually funny how some poignant scenes in the book came out slightly humorous on the film, but I'm fine with that.
I dragged a friend who has not read the books, and when the movie was over she love the film, and I have to accompany her to the bookstore to grab the book. So, I guess..the movie has its own charm.
Oh..and I went to watch it again with another group of friends...and one of them who hasn't read the book..decided she wants to read it too...LOL..
I do prefer the book over the movie though.

9. bellaofchaos (3118) | 1 year ago | Great disappointment.. I understand that you have to limit the time you have the movie and that you have to cut things but they changed practically the whole book. 90% of the movie was not how things happened in the book at all. I wanted to throttle something really hard. I would have never read the book if I saw the movie first.
If you want to know what I mean by 90% of the book you can read my discussion I'll put a link in here and the response by the first person who answered it.
http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/1820352.aspx
They just made too many changes and I don't think it was true to the book in any shape form or fashion.

| farhedzaini (1) | 7 days ago | first of all, I'm a guy and I love both vampire and werewolf. I just think that maybe the movie should have more action in it. I mean, yeah there should be a lot of kissing and lovey-dovey in it as it is a love story but I really think that some action in it will definitely make the story better. Look at Edward when he fought with the Volturi, he's like so weak and doesn't stand out to be a hero. My girl is a big fan for this Twilight Saga, so I'm begging the director... Please add some action for the next movie...
