I'm thinking about doing some ebooks and was wondering how to go about it. Is there a fee? I think the site is Amazon. Can anyone offer any tips or information on how to get started?

Are you saying you want to publish a book? If that is the case, you can try publishing at CreateSpace. It's the do-it-yourself publishing site of Amazon. The books you publish has an ISBN and are print-on-demand books.
By the way, I'm assuming that your book has a high enough word count or is a full-length book and not like a thin booklet. I'm not yet well-versed on CreateSpace's policy of evaluating books for publication but there may be a certain minimum number of pages because that's how the price of the book is computed.

Yes, this is an old discussion, but thank you for responding. I have some ebooks under my belt now. I found Smashwords.com and they have placed me in their catalog. Now my eBook will be published on Apple, Amazon, Sony and some other digital outlets. Now, I'm looking into ways to bring more exposure to my eBooks. If you can think of anything please let me know.
