| |  The only time that i get to drink miso soup is when i eat at Tokyo Tokyo... at first i didn't like the taste... but then it kinda grew on me... and i started to appreciate it... my daughter loves it as well... and i never had the idea that it is very nutritious... i guess i need to learn how to cook this soup... so i can prepare something new at home...

I wonder where I could get miso soup?
When I am sick, I used to always get hot and sour soup from a nice resturant called The Jade in Fitchburg MA..anytime that soup could heal me in 24 hrs.
It had much goodness in it.
I think I saw a documentary about that miso soup and how it is made once.

| |  Central part of Japan where I come from is very well known for miso. It's not only used for soup, but for meat, sweets, paste.... you name it. And yeah, like you said, it's super nutritious so this might be one of the reasons why J-people live so long.

| |  Hi there roniroxas, I only eat miso soup in Japanese restaurant. But we eat tofu several times a week, and I know that tofu also contains phytosterol.. (if I'm not misspelled it) same as miso because tofu was also made from soy bean. I hope I could stay away from cancer and other deadly diseases. Keep mylotting.

| | yes you spelled it right. miso soup has tofu too so it adds more nutrients when you eat (or drink) it. taho is one of the food that is made from soy beans as well and it is good for the children for it is sweet. not much for my mom for she is controlling her intakes of sweets. thanks for the response | | | |
