The forgotten one

The forgoten one - The name befits this flower as I have forgotten its name but never it's beauty. I am partial to unique things and this flower is of no exception to that rule. I had a great time capturing this beauty. Enjoy :)

The shades of yellow and violet tinged with green hue has created something euphoric. Simply out of the world! Great photography there! Where did you get this from?

where did I get the flower? or the photo. The photo I took at university last year. The flower was in a bouquet of flowers that my roommate gave me.

Feedback, Amanda? A very nice piece of work. Perhaps a little more depth of field to bring the near edge into sharper focus (larger f/stop or refocus to tale advantage of the hyperfocal distance), but in this case, I think it is secondary to the well chosen background and carefully balanced composition. I like it!
