Shooting in Toys R Us  

Yes it is sad that people can turn into meer animals on account of their own greed. I haven't heard of this news story before now, but I just recently started my own discussion reguarding a Walmart employee that got trampled to death at a Long Island Walmart this past Black Friday. Hearing stories such as this makes me sick to my stomach & disgusted that fellow humanbeings can act in such an animalistic manner.

it's a wonder people like this are fathers in the first place. The fact both had guns and so little paitence and both resorted to mindless violence, in front of people including their kids? It blows my mind

There is someone alarming, very alarming about people carrying guns and walking into any store with regular people. I mean would someone with a gun pull it out on someone with out? I think some probably would

Uneducated, selfish, foolish people and they have a gun and they use it like an extension of their pen*s - to be frank. People like that shouldn't be parents because they clearly have very little respect for life or anyone and my sympathy goes to the people that are hurt and the kids

I think society and the media need to give people a break. The world is a crazy place and so many people feel that they aren't good enough. I think it probably will get worse because the attitude of most peope is me me me, rather then thinking as a collective. We're all people and if we helped each other a little more, it would be an easier place for all of us

Instead you get foolish people doing foolish things - in this case especially. All I can imagine is that one or both felt the big man because they carried a gun. Guns should solely be used to defend yourself - if the need arises, and it's just awful

I can only think it was spur of the moment thing - because of the kids being their and that lack of paitence is beyond belief

Yes I heard about this incident and the one in my hometown of New York. Bringing the body count for Black Friday to three. Tensions are really high in America right now. It's more complicated than just holiday shopping disputes. People are literally going mad from frustration over finances. Coupled with the greed of American society, we are bound to have casualties. It is still ridiculous though. And very sad that the children were affected by this as well. People don't think, and not to speak bad of the deceased, but these guys paid the ultimate price for their stupidity. Happy Holidays right?

This is just shocking and frightening news. People are becoming very impatient and they have to kill people with just simple arguments. Now, I realized that it is not safe to go to these places.

Are there no laws, preventing people to carry guns in places like these? In the country I cam from, people just carry guns unless you are a law enforcer. You need to surrender your gun to the supermarket counter if you really want to go inside the store.

This is pathetic.It's obvious that you have never heard of hoods.Even if they were friends maybe they don't understand death.If you shoot him he won't be coming back.I'd like to know what the argument was about.That was so pathetic though in the middle of an toy store and they randomly pull out their weapons and fire.. wow what is the world coming to these days what will happen next?

Yes, I think things are getting worse. That is so sad that those children had to see that. I don't know what people are thinking nowadays. Those poor children will have this to remember the rest of their lives. The world is getting bad. So much killing and fighting.

It's really sad to hear of such stories. Of all places for this to happen, they have to do it in a toy store, where there are going to be children around. They really were setting a bad example for children.

Yes I heard about this. I think its sad that it had to happen on Black Friday and in a store where there is adults and little kids probably shopping. But they said it wasnt shopping related it was caused 2 be something else but they havent said yet...It's like what are these people thinkin? And what has this world come to? Ppl need to grow up and take their actions in a different wait instead of hurting one another.

this is the first i heard of this news and i am concerned about it cos it happened at a toys store where there would be lots of young children around. these people are brainless pull their guns over some disputes their girlfirends had. they ought to be shot and should had killed each other so that we would have 2 less idiots to deal with in this world who are likley to endanger others in future if they are still around. this shows that the arms regulation in US need to be re-assessed again about guns ownership cos not many pp can use the guns maturely.

I haven't been able to get online for a day or so but i certainly haven't heard this one for sure. It does make one wonder as to why they would even go IN to the same store since they had issues with one another. The lost their lives over something that probably could have been resolved in some other way. Heck what ever happened to fist fights?!

Is it going to reach the point that someday metal detectors will become a common thing when going to a store? Because that seems to be the only way to avoid such tragedies in public places and prevent tragedies that would take place in restaurants and the like (if anyone remembers the shoot out at Brown's Chicken??)

I guess that Friday was truly black for many people since instead of holiday shopping some were planning funerals for people that decided to bring guns to their holiday shopping day.
