Do you guys think that it is appropriate to bring a boy to see a Bob the Builder live show for his 7th birthday, or do you think he would be considered too old for Bob the Builder?

I agree with the rest, if he likes Bob the Builder then take him! There is nothing like a live show. I can't see why on earth it would be inappropriate for him to go...it seems now a day people want kids to grow up so quickly. Let the kids be kids and outgrow things on their own, not because we think they are too old for it. Let him decide.

I don't see anything wrong with taking him if he still really likes bob the builder. We took my brother to see scooby doo live when he was like 13 because he still liked scooby doo. It was a little weird because we didn't have a little kid with us but we still enjoyed it.

If he still likes watching the show than you should bring him. I know my kids loved it when they got to see a live show of Dora the Explorer. If he does still like it than he will sure love getting to go and watch it in person. My daughter is now five and still loves some of the younger cartoons but it is fine with me.

Thank you for you comment, I really appreciate. I was thinking along the same lines - that seeing the show in person will be a treat for him, in itself. I remember that I bought him to see Hip Hop Harry a couple of years ago, and seeing the character in person, had an effect all its own. He was in awe. So, even though he's older I thought maybe he would enjoy being there with family, and hundreds of other strangers and seeing some live action (even though he knows it's a cartoon). You know, enjoy the ambiance/feel of the event.
